Just stretch out your remaining time until payday and go buy the game. It will be the best money you could spend for an addiction that won't hurt you in any way other than your social life.

When I was checking out the link before I sent it to my friend, it said something about how when the 10 hours were over they would give you the option of purchasing a cd-key. So it'll probably just be that the account isn't playable til you enter a key. Kind of like if someone upgraded their regular edition to collector's by entering a collector's key.
